Happy 2009~
Can't believe I just spent the whole day of the first of 2009 doing the Toxicology project. T-T Searched, compiled and printed information of acrylamide toxicokinetics in the morning, and then realizing that those info did not help much in writing about acrylamide formation, I began anew with fresh searches. Gave me a headache it did. T-T It's almost 12pm and I'm still not done. T-T
Despite a daunting start to a new year, I hope things will look up as the days go by.
Happy new year everyone! Thank you for your continuous visits to Kawaii~neh! as well as your endless support for all things kawaii and handmade!

Flying back today
I'll be off in a few hours to KL Central to take the Skybus to LCCT. Flight back to Sibu is due at 12.05pm.
I went out yesterday afternoon, to get some felt squares and dresses to wear to my brother's wedding. I'm not quite sure how, but I was hit with a severe, throbbing headache in the evening. T-T Probably due to the afternoon heat. Now I understand why migraine sufferers can only think of bed when there's an attack. Nothing's more inviting than a dark, quiet bedroom with soft pillows and a plush comforter.
Shall post more when I get back to Sibu. :)

Liberation ath last!
Woohoo!!!!!
I'm free i'm free i'm free i'm free i'm free i'm free i'm free i'm free i'm free free FREE!!!
But I shalt be missing in action for a few days. :P Though I had an unforgettable experience at a theme park once, I had decided to join most of my friends for a trip to Genting. Pray that I do not fall off the pirate's ship, or get my upper extremities seared off while I'm in the roller coaster, or puke all over someone beside me while in a carriage of some type. T-T Maybe if the pressure's too much, I might just stand by and watch the fun. ^-^"
Have a kawaii day~!

Freedom is on the horizon
Chewah.... :P
But it's kind of true. Tomorrow's the last day of what has been like 2 months of torturous studying. *squealing with excitement* Yippeee!!! Monday's the last paper!!! Woohooo!!!!
Well, in the light of something unpleasant being posted on the tagboard *on the left side bar* a few days ago, I'd like to talk about what I call 'hit-and-run' on blogs.
If there's one thing I despise more than super-ego-matic-booming-cars driving past Vista B when I'm just about to fall into stage 2 of sleep, especially during exams-period, it's anonymous persons who'd just drop a nasty comment out of the blue, be it directed to the blog's contents or the blog writer.
I'd heard about such incognito comments staining blogs of some online associates I know of, and had wondered if I'd ever get one. Yeah, so I did get one, and I'll not hide the fact that I was a little shaken when I saw it. -_-"
I don't know what motives these individuals had or have *still? yikes!* What I decipher from such actions are :
1. He/she don't like the blog and feel it his/her duty to inform the owner about the uninteresting posts trashing the blog, or the blog's general unremarkableness.
2. He/she feels the thrill of posting anonymous and nasty comments because the blog owner will not be able to track him/her. I gather if this was the case, then several blogs would had been targets as well.
3. He/she is trying to make the blog look bad. Just plain nastiness in nature of the person. *tsk tsk*
From the attack I received *wah. attack oh.*, I'm not too sure whether the person's been a lurker for some time, or he/she had just stumbled on my blog for the first time.
All I can say is, posting a nasty comment without even daring to link a contact automatically makes it an act of cowardice.
Why not just be at peace with yourself and accept that my blog ish teh kawaii? *muahahaha~*
And a final word. Blog owners are accountable to no one - I repeat - no one, regarding the type of music they put on their blog, even if they stated that they are Japan-crazed but then the blog's music is Korean. Halo? Have you heard of freedom of music-choice? You'll be firing back about 'freedom of speech', but let me reinforce again about the act of cowardice. Cowards are not worthy of freedom, especially freedom of speech on someone else's territory. And particularly so when they intend to stir up something nasty.
Fuuuhhh.... That got it off my chest. ^o^ Maybe with a start, I'm more prepared for future attacks of nastiness. -_-"

Wishing to Escape My Mundane Life
AHHH!!! I'm sick of studying every single day!!!!
T-T
If not for the internet, I shudder to think what forms of entertainment I might have to resort to *read - sitting and staring into space* to keep insanity at bay during this absolutely depressing pre-exams preiod.
Currently, I'm watching this Korean drama called Soulmate. I like how the storyline never gets boring, and how events just come after one another in an unpredictable yet satisfying way. In addition, the songs that accompanied several scenes just pierced through my heart. Well, they grew immediately on me, and the neighbours might have been wondering the past few days what form of miscreation was croaking Lasse Lindh's C'mon Through tirelessly every night. -_-"
The drama is a must-watch for you drama-addicts out there! :D
P/S : A big thank your to Ciyou for awarding me the Butterfly Award. *blushes* You're one active crafty girl. :) Way to go!

Craftiness + Kawaiiness Put On Hold
Yeah. I'm sure you have not failed to notice that there has recently been less and less posts that kawaii-fies you. T-T
Approximately two weeks ago, I was under great obbligation to imprint the contents of the entire blue section of the Pharmacology textbook into my brain cells. T-T After that 2 weeks of disastrous, seemingly non-progressive and non-effectiveness-of-making-me-remember-punya revision of CNS, I began going through voluminous chapters on thyroid glands & disorders, diabetes mellitus & pancreatic hormones, pituitary glands and whatever else glands yang ade lah. T-T
Today, I've just about finish half of the female reproductive system and ovarian hormones. I want to cry. Is there any way to forever remember all the teenee details? *whines* I don't wanna memorize the stupid unwanted effects and drug interactions. *whines somemore*
End-of-semester exams are getting scarily nearer. T-T
Hokay. I think I'll have to leave off posting handmades and kawaii. T-T Please bear with any strange or kawaii-unrelated posts that you may be seeing from now till end of November.
^-^
Thank you bunches~!

JSR #.... I really lost count... T-T
Today's a great day. Somehow, I felt quite happy. Dunno why. :P *lalalalalalalala*
Perhaps this is the after-effect of watching Big Bang's all natural interviews. XD I love the way Sueng Ri and Ji Yong talk at each other. *omg* So funny! :D
Oh, and I just came back from my friend's raya open house. :P I really must hand it to the girls la. They all cook amazingly yummy dishes. *drools* Eat 3 rounds also cannot didn't finish tasting all of them. :D
Hehe... Just some eye candy for the moment :
Lotte Airs Hamchimitsu Milk Choco + Milk Choco
Price : RM7.10 each
Weight : Didn't write (12 pieces)
Found : Isetan KLCC
{ Hachimitsu = honey }
{ Diseased chocolate -_-" }
Frankly, these two chocolates are the worst I've tasted amongst Japanese chocs. T-T Lagi lah with the white-ish fungus-like thingies covering the milk chocolate. T-T Those are actually some of the ingredients in the chocolate, leached out and crystallizing on the chocolate surface *if I'm not mistaken*. But still, they look absolutely gross. -_-"
G-Dragon Ji Yong!!! Sarang hae yo!!!!!!!

Eh... I'm Burned Outthe
Yes. I'm totally spent. Just had a paper on Endocrine System this morning. I can't say I sailed through it. In fact, I kind of struggled with quite a few questions. But with luck, I might be able to scrap a 70%. Please don't gimme less than that. T-T Pweeees
This semester, I can't find any motivation at all to study and give my best for class tests. In previous semesters, I'll cram and cram and make sure I can hafal all the lecture notes and important excerpts from text books. This semester, I read to understand the whole idea only. Didn't go into details. A mistake obviously.
What is the hormone that causes excessive hair growth in women?
Damn it if I know the answer. T-T
It's either DHEA or Progesterone.
No?
Then, damn the question for being so stupid. T-T Don't they realise that Progesterone and Oestrogen and god knows what all have almost the same spelling and pronounciation? *blond moment*
*Trying to ignore the fact that I didn't study properly*
Got no kawaii to post at the moment. Too tired to search for Etsy goodies. No strength to craft something up.
I'm getting old.
T-T
Sponsored posts are no good for blogs. I find that traffic seems to dwindle a few days after I post up one, and then rise up back again when I post about something kawaii. :P
We all loveth kawaii, neh? :D
If by whatever means inspiration suddenly gets me, I might whip up something. :P
At the mo, just let me rot in monotony, thank you.

Ohoho....
Erm.... You might have noticed the sponsored post right before this one. -_-" I'm currently at a desperate high to gain more monays. :P But then again, I still can't believe I resorted to posting about something totally unrelated to kawaii, handmades and such. -_-"
I wish to have Lynn Xuan's skilled writing of sponsored posts. :P
Ah...
Oh, yeah. :P I just updated my Etsy shop with a 10% off everything sale. Prices on the listings are not reduced. Please submit your order as usual, but wait for a revised invoice to be sent to you. :)

Random Post #1
*Sigh*
I just finished reading 13 lectures on Complementary Medicine in 13 hours. Not straight 13 hours non-stop la. I not bit-cho-so... yet. Started yesterday night, all the way till tonight.
I learnt to late that I can't just cover everything in that module the day before the paper itself, as I initially planned to do. After looking at the module guide yesterday night, I began panicking - this module has 28 (or is it 27?) lectures - the most among all the modules. T-T
Hence the motivation and energy to study them lectures as completely and as quickly as possible. At first, it was just some recalls on certain topics. Then it was memory re-inforcing. And later on, struggles to imprint all information in my almost bursting brain.
And then I came to this :
(excerpt from Traditional Chinese Medicine lecture notes)
Liver connects to the eye and is associated with anger.
What the **** is this la? Actually, I was laughing when I read this. It sounds just too damn ridiculous. *snorts*
Well, the explanation was :
Each zang organ is paired with a fu organ and connects to a sense organ and have an associated spiritual aspect.
Wah. That's such a clear explanation ho?
Haih.... dunno how already la.
