*Sigh* You're about to bash me right? *Grumbles* I know I know.... What's the point of keeping a blog if I'm just going to let it show the same thing for 3 weeks? T-T

Well. The thing is. I'm currently swamped by a heavy bout of laziness. I've got a few ideas for making stuff but I just couldn't be bothered to lift a finger. Recently, I just discovered the joy of YouTube and KPop/Entertainment combined. From dawn to twilight, it's 2NE1, Super Junior and Star King. It just feels so much more comfortable just watching Bom and Dara's silliness on 2NE1 TV and laugh at Eun Hyuk's lame statements on numerous game/talk shows.

Eheh... I'm an irresponsible blogger. Yeah, pat my back. >.< My family and I embraced the annual routine which is a major part in celebrating the Lunar New Year - visiting relatives and friends.

About a week before CNY (Chinese New Year), we *as in a group of friends* were discussing about ang-pows. For your information, ang-pows are what the Chinese call 'red packets', and these usually contain cash notes. One of the girls voiced out that she felt excited at the thought CNY nearing, because of the ang-pows. Almost all the other girls agreed. I somewhat disagreed and said that since we're reaching our 23rd year of life, shouldn't we feel a little embarrassed for receiving money from other people? I'm not trying to sound like a super-independent 'power' woman who rake in millions from her estate management giant or something. I just have this thought - what did I do to deserve that?

Have you thought of it that way? Or putting it another way round, would you give RM10 or US$5 to each of your colleague's children, whom you only see once a year? It may be a form of courtesy and a sign of good-will to each other. But then again, visiting and catching up with the host and his family is a far more sincere gesture.

Just a thought there....

A day before I was due to fly back home, I got a call from campus. There were four packages waiting to be collected. I skipped like a little girl with pink candy floss all over to the Students Affairs Department.

Got my CDs from eBay. The seller's from Korea! ♥wooo~!♥ Big Bang's albums are never plain. This one was a large vinyl layered black box that contained two shiny rainbow memory-card-look-alikes of two members. I got TOP and Seung Ri. I want GD!!!!! *sobs*

I'm so glad I bought Rain's newest album. Love all the songs!!!

Back to reality (keep telling myself that...)

Yup. I'm back to uni life again. *UGH* Last semester's exam results shocked me speechless and my happy-batteries that usually work best during hols were somewhat out of function for a few days after I received that darn piece of paper. T-T

I'm decided. I'm going to put my all into studies this coming semester. It's been a good start as of today. I actually listened and took in two whole lectures on clinical pharmacokinetics.

Normally, for the first few minutes of a lecture, I'd be thinking about what I just saw and heard *visual and auditory processing - not that I'm dumb; I just have a way of thinking too much about things*, and then proceeding to daydreaming about beautiful treasures I saw online. Not even 15 minutes after the start of the lecture, I'd start looking at my watch, mentally willing the lecturer to speed up finishing going through the powerpoint slides, at the same time hoping there'd be some sort of distraction like a fire drill or a campus-wide black out. Halfway through, I'd have nodded off to candyland and stayed immobilized on the chair, with my head down - a model of a good student deep in thought - until about 5 minutes before lecture ends. It's quite uncanny really, how I'd jerk awake right before a lecture ends.

Well. Hope this fired-up determination to attend a lecture properly is going to last for the rest of the sem. *fingers crossed*

That aside, Big Bang is seriously pumping up some cool tunes. I just discovered this song they did for SBS's stop smoking campaign in Korea.

Last night, I made a little red heart-shaped felt pillow. It's meant for my brother's wedding for putting the rings. :) Mum suggested that I make one, because a store-bought ring-bearer's pillow costs at least RM20. -_-" And then when she saw this pillow, she commented that it's too plain. I said the simpler the better. :P Such a striking colour is best left on its own to work the magic.

The past few days, a large cake plush was in the making. It was actually an alternative I made to what an Etsy customer wanted. I've run out of yellow felt, so I substituted it with chocolate brown felt. The customer prefer whites and creams and pinks unfortunately. T-T

Just finished watching Soulmate. There was no satisfactory ending to the story. Instead, viewers have the choice to decide for themselves how they want the ending to be like.

Despite that, I must say it's one of the best Korean dramas I've watched. :) Heart-moving yet not a sob story. Never a boring moment, always with surprises and not a few funny scenes.

As always, I can't help being attracted to the drop-dead gorgeous lead actor. ^-^" So, searched him on youtube. And found this music video that he was in. Instantly fell in love with the song, the moment I heard the first note. The tune made me I feel like I'm in another world, all worries forgotten. The lyrics are absolutely touching. I found myself linking the ending of Soulmate to the song.

Been playing it over and over the whole night. ^-^" With Applied Biopharmaceutics forgotten. -_-"

Wishing to Escape My Mundane Life

AHHH!!! I'm sick of studying every single day!!!!

T-T

If not for the internet, I shudder to think what forms of entertainment I might have to resort to *read - sitting and staring into space* to keep insanity at bay during this absolutely depressing pre-exams preiod.

Currently, I'm watching this Korean drama called Soulmate. I like how the storyline never gets boring, and how events just come after one another in an unpredictable yet satisfying way. In addition, the songs that accompanied several scenes just pierced through my heart. Well, they grew immediately on me, and the neighbours might have been wondering the past few days what form of miscreation was croaking Lasse Lindh's C'mon Through tirelessly every night. -_-"

The drama is a must-watch for you drama-addicts out there! :D

G-Dragon = Have you ever seen a guy like him?

I'll be regretting for having rushed through antipsychotics and then switching to watching Big Bang on youtube tonight. T-T

Ah... But I'm getting flutters in the heart just listening to G-Dragon talk. ♥ ♥ ♥ And looking at him too. :P

Yeah, my love for Big Bang had just gotten iteself re-inforced these few days and becoming stronger than ever. Previously, I loved only their songs; didn't take much notice of the members. But then, my lil sis kept pestering me to go watch part 2 of Haru Haru, their new song in their 3rd mini album. Being the good sis that I am *ceh~*, I watched la. And from there, I was lead deeper and deeper in the realm of Big Bang!

Ok. So the main thing I want to talk about here is the leader in the group; G-Dragon. That's his stage-name. Real name is Kwon Ji Yong, 'Yong' meaning dragon in Korean. Gawd. Gotta love him. He composed and written lyrics for Big Bang's hit song Lies, and a score of other songs as well, including Haru Haru. He's got creativity alright, mad style and crazy fashion sense. LOVE his personality, his confidence, his ease and natural self on stage. OMG. Can't stop liking him. He's only 20 though. ♥ Lagi the reson to like him. XD

He's not your drop-dead gorgeous, handsome guy. He's the cute guy, the ever confident leader. And I love every bit of him. ♥

DBSK (TVXQ) + Tae Yang + Aoyama Thelma = Super Music BLAST

I spent the last weekend with my sis at her place in Bandar Sunway. :P Had a blast of a time. :P The only thing that spoiled the stay was my forgetting to bring the cam. T-T My sis didn't have one. T-T Only her phone cam. T-T

We did oh so many things. Um.... I should say 'we ATE oh so many things'. ^-^"

One of them was Italiannies at The Gardens. I brought her there, having read very good reviews on it on several food blogs. Sien.... Didn't get to take pics... T-T Ah... Anyway, we ordered the Salmon Fettucine and Lasagna a la what-what la... (can't remember the name ^-^"). The portion super big mia lo. The Salmon Fettucine is a dish to die for. Seriously. Delicious, superlicious, fantasticalicious! Super creamy, super yummy, super mm-mm! Lasagna was ok ok la.... I think too much meat dy inside. ^-^"

Next time we should try Pasta de Gohan. :P

So, anyways, my lil sis tried to convince me to 'change' my outlook a bit. T-T She's your typical citygirl - cute and pretty, well-carried, and with a fun personality. So, she brought me to buy a pair of silver hoops. She lost one side of hers, and wanted a new pair. Hence the dragging of her older sis into this. T-T

I think hoops look great on girls - albeit they dress to suit the look. :)

So, I chin-chai tried a pair also la.

First off, BIG BANG's SECOND MINI ALBUM HOT ISSSUE!!! Oops... Forgive my using of caps here. :D I'm just sooo excited to finally have my own copy of the songs!!! :D ALL the songs in this album was composed and written by G-Dragon (one of the group members *smooches*) together with Stony Skunk (not sure who this is :P) a number of other people like Brave Brothers, this S. Skush and pk.

I couldn't get a picture of the inside because my camera chose to go haywire then. T-T Something with the lens I think, because the same problem occurred last last year in 2006. I so sien with it la... T-T

Nasib baik before this disaster befell me, I got pics of BoA's newest album The Face.

After listening to her other album Made In Twenty, which I'd claim to love all 13 songs out of 14, I'd been highly anticipating this one. I was not disappointed. :) The songs are just nice for a girl like me. :P I'd say my fav is My Way, Your Way which she 'feated' (is this the right term? sounds kinda weird.. :P) with WISE. I love the beat to the song. I can't say for the rest, because I'm still half-way through listening. :) LOVE all the songs! Perhaps maybe not for a few lah, like Diamond Heart and Beautiful Flowers. Too repetitive. My Way, Your Way, Sweet Impact, Love Letter and Best Friend are on my top list. :) Others are ok ok lo.

There's still one more CD, from Clazziquai. I bought their third album Love Child of the Century. You might have remembered that I have their first album Instant Pig. I didn't proceed to buy their second album because after listening to the songs on imeem, I thought it might not be worth a buy.

Ok. Oh, and another update... I've finally started to get active on MySpace. I registered in 2006, but never bothered to do anything to my account. T-T And these few days, it dawned on me that perhaps, as so many Etsy sellers have claimed, through my profile there, more people might come to know about my crafting and selling. :) Hoping it is so.

So... Add me as a friend!!! I'm desperate!!! *muahaha...* No, seriously, I'm trying to get noticed by people, so the more friends added, the better. I guess you can call this networking and marketing. I'm ready for an all-out online interaction. I've been using Friendster, and more recently, Facebook. Other social networking sites I've dabbled with a little here and there include hi5 and Tagged, and goodness knows how many others. My Friendster is practically dead. I only log in to wish people 'happy birthday' and to post greetings like Happy New Year, which is a once-a-year event. T-T So as you can see, I'm not a very social person. *bleh* Therefore, I'm hoping to make a change (online change). :P I'd like to meet Etsy sellers, indie girls, kawaii lovers and handmade people. Korean Music Blast!!!

Wooh! I'm super hyper! Cause I got my yesasia.com order! Woohoo! Well, I got it on Monday actually, but only got to post about it today. :)

Here's Clazziquai's first album Instant Pig. I dunno why the weird name, but I suppose it's got something to do with the first song in the album. It has pig squees in between choruses, I think. :P Somemore, the album cover, CD and booklet designs all have cute little pigs on them. :D

Clazziquai is a Korean group, comprising of two guys and a girl (I think). Their music is a mixture of electronica, jazz and pop. I love love love! :D I got to know about them after watching My Lovely Sam Soon, searching for the awesome song from the series called She Is, sang by Clazziquai. I so in love with them now...

Next is.... BIG BANG!!! Woohoo!!!

They say it's a mini album. But I guess they're trying send out the message of irony. :P The packing is way larger than your normal CD case.

Their songs are THE BEST! I can't describe the high-ness felt eveytime listening to them. :P Here's a complete playlist from the album. My absolute favs are Always and Lies.
